RESEARCH INTEREST:
蛋白质组中心实验室将重心放在基于生物质谱的蛋白质组研究上,其主要任务和研究方向如下:
Àƒ 为研究所各研究室提供基于生物质谱的蛋白质组平台服务,包括微量蛋白质的鉴定,磷酸化蛋白质磷酸化位点的鉴定,以及蛋白质其它特性的检测.
Àƒ 和需要蛋白质组中心实验室长期或非常规支持的研究室开展合作研究,根据个研究室的要求进行技术平台的开发.
Àƒ 开发和完善对复杂生物样品里的磷酸化蛋白质进行分析的生物学和质谱学平台,包括磷酸化蛋白质或多肽的富集(如IMAC技术),磷酸化位点的确定,以及磷酸化蛋白质的定量.
 

􀂃 将开发和完善的蛋白质组平台应用于癌症和其它疾病研究,发现新的癌症标记物和药物作用对象.
􀂃 将蛋白质组平台应用于系统生物学的研究领域,鉴定复杂生物系统的信号蛋白和它们的相互作用,建立起复杂生物系统的信号网络,最终促进癌症的研究和新药的发现.
􀂃 Provide routine proteomics service in support of the research work of the institute, which includes: protein sequencing, phosphorylation site identification from individual phosphoprotein, and other protein characterization as requested.
􀂃 Collaborate with other labs of NIBS for critical research projects that require advanced and substantial support from Proteomics Lab.
􀂃 Technology development. The initial effort will be focused on phospho-analysis of complex biological systems and differential labeling of proteins. The Immobilized Metal Affinity Chromatography (IMAC) will be the key technology for phosphopeptide enrichment from complex mixture. The phosphoproteins and their phosphorylation sites will be identified both qualitatively and quantitatively by multiple proteomics platforms.
􀂃 Apply the technology of differential phospho-analysis for cancer research to identify potential cancer markers or drug targets.
􀂃 Integrate various proteomics tools into Systems Biology, identify signaling molecules and build signaling network from complex biological systems, eventually lead to better cancer research and drug discovery.
