欧洲分子生物学实验室近期两大学术活动
生物谷报道：欧洲分子生物学协会（European Molecular Biology Organization ，EMBO）每年以科学成就为把关环节，引入一些新成员。10月31日，EMBO公布了今年入选的49名新成员名单，这些新成员因为在自身研究领域中做出了杰出贡献，跻身于欧洲前沿生命科学领域。
EMBO常务董事Frank Gannon说：“EMBO的成员是EMBO最宝贵的财富，也是我们享誉世界的基础。今年，我们邀请一组新成员加入EMBO团体。我希望这些新鲜血液将他们的理想也带到团体中来。”
目前，EMBO在欧洲已经有1200名成员，在世界范围内也有70名准成员，有43名诺贝尔获奖者和其它重要奖项的获奖者。自从EMBO成立以来，EMBO成员对维持EMBO高水准的科研优势做出了卓越贡献。
49名新成员中44名来自欧洲，4名美国杰出科学家和中国北京基因组研究所杨焕明教授获得准成员资格。以下是新成员名单：
