
Beyond Genome国际会议在美国San Diego市举行
由CHI(Cambridge Healthtech Institute)组织的Beyond Genome国际会议于6月15-19在美国的San Diego市举行。此会议包括4个方面:Bioinformatics and Genome Research,Proteomics,RNA interference,Systems Biology,其中,Bioinformatics and Genome Research已是第12届了,Proteomics为第7届,Systems Biology为第5届,RNA interference为新列的专题。全美各大生物、医药公司都有研究人员参加,出席的也有世界其它国家的相关研究人员和生物医药公司的人员。报告的内容相当丰富,主要包括:怎样整合现有的生物信息,建立相关的信息提取和分析平台,怎样应用生物技术(包括生物信息学技术)进行药物的靶点发现和药物的设计,RNA interference作为未来生物制药的一个热点引起了大家的广泛兴趣。本中心的石铁流老师参加了此会,现将会议的有关报告的资料放到网上,有兴趣的人员可下载相关资料(PDF files)。
