Retroviral vector expressing GFP in adult mouse hippocampus.
Dividing cells in the adult mouse dentate gyrus express early neural markers at 48 hr after virus injection. Merged 15, 1micron optical sections of GFP expression in the dentate gyrus in a section labeled for the neuronal marker is NerN (red, Cy3).
