VECTORS for BRET

Vectors for expressing protein fusions to Renilla luciferase (RLUC) or yellow fluorescent protein (YFP).  All the vectors listed here are Bluescript based (ampicillin resistance) and contain the 35S promoter with a double enhancer, and a 35S terminator. For a brief orientation about restriction sites of plasmids 476 and 554, see below. For detailed restriction sites of these and other plasmids, examine the sequences available at Genbank.

Plant GFP expression vectors

We have constructed a series of plant expression vectors for green fluorescent protein (GFP) fusion proteins. Some of these vectors are described in von Arnim et al. (1998) Gene 221, 35-43. All vectors contain a double 35S-promoter and 35S-terminator, as well as a translational enhancer. Selected vectors are available upon request to those academic users ready to comply with a simple material transfer agreement. Refer to the figure for relevant restriction sites. The sequence of pAVA319 is available under Genbank AF078810.
