The FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition held a meeting on the west coast, to solicit additional input on an overall strategy for regulating dietary supplements under DSHEA. The meeting took place on July 20, 1999 at the Oakland Federal Building, third floor auditorium, North Tower, 1301 Clay Street, Oakland, CA. This is the second of two meetings on this subject, following the June 8, 1999 meeting in Washington DC. The deadline for submitting written comments is August 20, 1999.
